At RMHC Victoria & Tasmania, we’re looking for a visionary Head of Fundraising & Marketing to take the helm of a dynamic team—and drive revenue, storytelling, and partnerships that directly support families with seriously ill children.

Ronald McDonald House Charities is one of the leading Global and Australian Children’s Charities supporting the ever-changing needs of seriously ill children and their families. In line with its mission, Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania (RMHC VIC & TAS) has dedicated more than 35 years to keeping families closer to their child with a serious illness who require treatment and support across Victoria and Tasmania.
Your impact
As the Head of Fundraising & Marketing, you will lead a high-performing team and deliver strategies that grow sustainable income and deepen engagement with our community. This senior leadership role is both strategic and hands‑on, overseeing fundraising, marketing, brand, and communications initiatives that support our programs and mission.
What you'll be doing:
Lead and execute a multi-year strategic Fundraising and Marketing Plan aligned with organisational goals
Oversee major revenue pillars: Philanthropy, Partnerships, Events, and Individual Giving
Champion RMHC VIC & TAS’s Marketing & Communications strategy to roll out our new brand modernisation and amplify our reach
Support the implementation of our highly anticipated comprehensive campaign alongside DGB
Oversee a dynamic and multi‑faced team (9.6 FTE), spread across unique sub‑departments – Events, Marketing & Supporter Experience and Philanthropy
Drive a values‑led, high‑performing Fundraising & Marketing team culture
Engage internal and external stakeholders including RMHC Australia, major donors, and partners
Report directly to the CEO and contribute to Executive Leadership and Board‑level strategy
Who are you?
You’re a purpose‑led, results‑driven leader with a passion for storytelling, strategic growth, and social impact. You’re a visionary Fundraiser, innovative Marketer, a confident Leader, and a skilled Communicator. You'll bring a mix of creativity, data‑driven decision‑making, and authentic relationship‑building skills.
Ideally, you'll have:
A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or related discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior fundraising and marketing roles
Proven success in developing and executing strategies that grow revenue
Strong leadership capability with experience coaching and empowering teams
Knowledge of fundraising CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
