Corporate - Contract Law Attorney in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory
Job Responsibilities: The Senior Associate at the law firm will be engaged in high-profile corporate and commercial transactions, with responsibilities including:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating core transaction documents.
Undertaking due diligence reviews and managing specialist teams' delivery of advice.
Performing legal research on complex issues.
Working closely with partners on complex matters.
Supporting and guiding less experienced team members.
Delivering legal advice with a commercial and client-focused outlook.
Managing communication and stakeholder relationships effectively, both internally and externally.
Taking a collaborative, positive, and energetic approach to tasks.
Education and Experience Information:
The candidate should have at least 5 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in private practice commercial law.
Recent experience acting for the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) on complex procurements, such as those with the Department of Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, or engaging with Commonwealth Government agencies acting as regulators, will be viewed favorably.
