Head of Finance

Executive Manager, Finance – Lead the finance function of Eighty9, a values‑led, commercially focused not‑for‑profit headquartered in Hindmarsh, which delivers employment, training and support services to people living with disability or disadvantage.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and through to the Finance Director (Board), the Executive Manager, Finance will be responsible for financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting, statutory and management reporting, cashflow, compliance and internal controls. You will lead a team of seven across payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and administration, lifting technical capability and driving continuous improvement in systems, processes and reporting disciplines.

Base pay range A$160,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr

Financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting

Statutory and management reporting

Cashflow management

Compliance and internal controls

Lead a team of seven across payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and administration

Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes and reporting disciplines

Key Qualifications

Proven experience leading finance in a complex service‑based organisation

Comfortable operating in a high‑performing, service‑driven organisation where commercial acumen is essential

Tech‑strong and hands‑on, with excellent attention to detail

Mature and grounded leadership style, able to work closely with the CEO, board, auditors and operational leaders

CA/CPA qualified preferred (strong management and financial accounting skills)

Experience with FBT and NFP salary packaging is advantageous but can be learned
