Scope of Services
The
Independent Contractor-Therapy Services
will provide therapeutic mental health services to clients in alignment with the contractor’s license, training, and scope of practice. These services aim to support individuals' mental health and well-being and may include, but are not limited to:
develop individualized treatment plans/Family Service Plans tailored to each client’s needs and in collaboration with DFCS case plan.
Utilize evidence-based clinical techniques to effectively address symptoms related to anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral disorders, and various mental health diagnoses.
Provide timely, goal-oriented services to assigned clients and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated
Maintain documentation of services provided, including treatment plans, progress notes, and related records, in accordance with contractual standards
Participate in case reviews, clinical consultation, and collaborative planning with external providers, as requested
Refer or coordinate with crisis response teams and emergency services when appropriate
Offer guidance, education, and resource referrals to support client recovery and goal attainment
Maintain compliance with ethical standards, licensing board rules, DFCS State Org Chart, and all applicable regulations
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Social Work , Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
Active licensure or
license-eligible
as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent in the service state
Minimum of two years’ experience providing therapy services to children and/or families
Must secure independent clinical supervision if not fully licensed
Reliable means of providing services (in-person or virtual) and ability to meet contractual documentation expectations
Contractor must live within 100 miles of the assigned reporting office
Deliverables
Completion of clinical documentation within agreed-upon timeframes
Accurate and timely invoicing aligned with completed service units
Engagement in service delivery that reflects professional standards of care and accountability
