We are seeking a
Full‑Time Warehouse & Distribution Manager . You’ll oversee all aspects of inventory management, distribution, and warehouse operations. You’ll lead a motivated team, manage both internal and external logistics, and implement best practices to ensure the efficient flow of goods and transactions. You’re a hands‑on, proactive leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
You’ll also play a pivotal role in shaping culture, streamlining processes, and maintaining high standards of safety, security, and productivity across the warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and model a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Develop and enhance systems for quality control, inventory, receiving, warehousing, and shipping.
Manage the distribution network, including external logistics partners and an internal fleet.
Implement best practice processes across warehouse and distribution operations.
Ensure stock security, warehouse maintenance, and tidiness.
Oversee daily workflows, delegate tasks, and drive productivity improvements.
Conduct regular reporting on warehouse performance, costs, budgets, and delivery metrics.
Lead and support team meetings, training, and multi‑skilling programs.
Manage and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with OH&S and company standards.
Conduct stocktakes, cycle counts, and oversee pick/pack/ship operations.
About You
You’ll bring:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a warehouse management role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Proficiency in computer systems and reporting tools.
Current forklift licence and competency certificate.
Knowledge of OH&S policies and compliance standards.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
SAP experience highly valued.
