The Role As Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of sporting programs across our eight member schools. Reporting directly to the Current Chair, you will work closely with Principals, Heads of Sport, and other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of IGSSA programs and marquee events.

This is a temporary (12 months), full-time (1.0 FTE) role requiring flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and school holiday periods. Time off in lieu will be available during off‑peak periods. Anticipated commencement for this position is in January 2026.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, event management expertise, exceptional organisational skills, and a passion for promoting girls’ sport.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience leading competitive sports programs and managing marquee events.

Ability to collaborate across schools with Principals and Heads of Sport.

Communication skills with strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.

Problem solver who is solutions focused.

Passionate about promoting girls’ participation and achievement in sport.

Current First Aid and CPR certification and Working with Children Check.
