Job Title: Entry-Level Invoicing and Bookkeeping Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Invoicing and Bookkeeping Associate to support our clients’ financial operations. This role focuses on managing invoicing, basic bookkeeping tasks, and maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and passionate about delivering excellent service to our clients.
Responsibilities
Invoicing : Prepare, send, and track client invoices using QuickBooks, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
Data Entry : Record financial transactions, including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and expense tracking, into QuickBooks or other accounting software.
Bank Reconciliation : Assist in reconciling bank statements with company financial records to ensure accuracy.
Bookkeeping Support : Process payments, receipts, and journal entries under the supervision of senior bookkeepers.
Administrative Tasks : File invoices, maintain organized financial records, and assist with monthly financial reporting as needed.
Collaboration : Work closely with the bookkeeping team to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to client deadlines.
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience : 1-2 years of bookkeeping or related experience preferred, ideally with familiarity using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop). Candidates with internships or coursework in bookkeeping or accounting are also encouraged to apply.
Skills :
Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles (e.g., debits, credits, accounts payable/receivable).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and QuickBooks required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
1-2 years experience using Quickbooks online
Certifications : QuickBooks Online Certification (Basic or Advanced) is a plus but not required.
Technical Requirements : For remote work, a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace are required.
