Software Developer (Full Stack MERN Developer) Requisition ID: 240995

Full Stack Developer in Canadian Banking Engineering We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to work in a fast‑paced Agile environment focused on product onboarding.

What will you do?

Full stack role – 50% front‑end, 50% back‑end.

Planning and executing to meet sprint objectives as well as program/project milestones as a member of the scrum team.

Write well‑designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.

Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.

Create and maintain software documentation.

Collaborate with the Scrum team to plan milestones, successfully execute software delivery, and elevate issues as needed.

What do you need to succeed?

5+ years’ experience as a full‑stack developer.

2+ years’ experience working with MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) stack in a professional environment.

2+ years’ of unit testing experience with both frontend and backend code.

2+ years of experience working with microservice architecture.

2+ years’ experience working in Agile/Scrum framework.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence decision making across stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to lead team members with differing opinions and provide guidance to varying levels of experience.

Effective organization, planning, and time management skills.

Post‑secondary education, preferably in computer science or engineering; a Scrum certification would be an asset.

Nice‑to‑have skills

Experience working with monorepo architecture.

Demonstrated experience working with Gitflow branching strategy.

Experience working with trunk‑based branching strategy.
