Job Description

Director of Operations We’re the leader in residential and commercial cleaning services across the Greater Toronto Area, delivering extraordinary service in air duct, upholstery, carpet, window, and gutter cleaning.

As a remote Director of Operations, you will be the CEO’s right hand, owning day‑to‑day operations across Customer Service and Field Technicians while the CEO focuses on strategy, vision, marketing, and finance.

About the Role Lead daily huddles and weekly meetings with two departments; optimize scheduling, routing, and SOP compliance; track KPIs and eliminate waste; manage callbacks and exceptions; present operations reports to the CEO; build a high‑performing, psychologically safe culture.

Ideal Candidate 6+ years of operations management in home services or field services; expertise dispatching teams for multiple daily jobs; deep knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement; high EQ, strong coaching, and proficiency in building trust and psychological safety; excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Skills & Qualifications

6+ years in roles like Director of Operations, Operations Manager, Dispatch Manager, Field Services Manager, Chief of Staff, EOS Integrator, or similar.

Deep experience dispatching residential/home services teams (HVAC, house cleaning, pool services, roofing, electrical).

Proven ability to optimize logistics, track KPIs, and improve gross profit through waste elimination; experience with Lean or continuous improvement.

Track record documenting processes, creating training materials, and implementing SOPs.

Financially savvy to understand operational decisions impact on profitability.

High EQ to deliver tough feedback while building positive culture; patient coaching; knowledge of retraining vs. reassign vs. terminate.

Visionary thinking and proactive problem‑solving.

Self‑motivated, hungry, and tenacious under pressure.

Quick to learn new tools and identify automation opportunities.

Working Hours Fixed, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time (Toronto) to support early scheduling and end‑of‑day check‑ins. Core team hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Adjusts with Daylight Saving Time.

Employment Type Full‑time engagement with significant operational responsibility and leadership accountability. Not an hourly position; you will own outcomes and be evaluated on results, not time tracked. Exclusivity preferred.

Education No specific degree required – we value relevant experience and proven results.

Level Director / Senior Manager (6–10+ years of relevant operations management experience).

Compensation ~CAD $2,458–$2,881 per month, based on experience. Structured as a Consultant Agreement (independent contractor).
