Job Description

NOC 72600 Bush Pilot & Air Ambulance Pilot We are looking for an experienced bush pilot who will also be working on our medevac flight line.

Overview

Full Time Permanent Employment.

32 to 37 hours per week.

Must be able to work variety of shifts including early morning, day, evening, late night, on-call, overtime, shift, weekend work.

Starts as soon as possible, with required SIM training in the USA.

Languages: English, French considered an asset.

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Supervision of 1 to 2 people.

Willing to sign a 24 month training bond.

Credentials, Experience and Education

Other trades certificate or diploma.

Airline/commercial/professional pilot and flight crew.

2 years to less than 3 years of experience.

500 - 1000+ total time required.

150 PIC.

500 hours mountainous experience.

ATPL written and passed.

25-50hr line indoctrination.

C208 type rating or similar configuration considered an asset.

BE20/30 type rating or similar configuration considered an asset.

Experience in northern, remote and unmaintained strips considered an asset.

2 Crew CRM experience considered an asset.

Airline Pilot Transport Licence - fixed wing.

Flight instrument rating.

Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Licence.

Multi-instrument Flight Rating.

Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.

Responsibilities Tasks

Fly fixed wing aircrafts.

Follow emergency procedures to compensate for equipment malfunction or failure.

Monitor operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight

Perform post-flight inspections.

Record equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken during flight.

Report required repairs to ground maintenance personnel.

Co-ordinate flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control, inform crew members of flight and test procedures and direct activities of aircraft crew during flights.

Conduct in-flight tests and monitor functioning of aircraft equipment and systems during flights.

Conduct pre-flight inspection of aircraft and check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure that weight and balance specifications are met.

Contact control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions and other information.

Maintain communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions.

Transport and handle dangerous goods.
