What is our Director Clinical Planning role? This is an exciting leadership opportunity within the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) Strategy and Transformation Division to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of clinical service planning for all of NMHS.

The Director Clinical Planning is responsible for the delivery of NMHS and wider system reforms, represents NMHS at system-wide planning forums, provides key insights and analysis to support decision‑making on clinical service delivery to meet the needs of patients in the NMHS and linked country WA catchments, and, leads and directs the Clinical Planning team to deliver a program of work aligned to NMHS’s and system-wide strategic priorities.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other “similar” vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
