Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close & Financial Reporting – Oversee timely completion of month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate P&L and balance sheet analysis to support financial reporting.

Forecasting & Budgeting – Support development and monitoring of revenue forecasts and budgets and provide insights to inform strategic financial planning.

Audit Liaison – Coordinate with external and internal auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Revenue Accounting Oversight – Manage sub-ledger revenue accounting, including accounts receivable, credit management and claims management and collaborate with in‑business commercial teams to align financial strategies.

Financial Analysis & Reporting – Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support decision‑making and present financial information clearly to business leaders for performance evaluation.

Team Leadership & Development – Lead and develop the revenue accounting team, foster skill enhancement and implement system and process improvements to drive efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

Experience in an accounting role within a large corporate environment or newly qualified from a Big 4.

A degree in accounting or finance.

CA or CPA qualified.

Advanced stakeholder management and experience in a role with at least one direct report.

Advanced Excel and ability to problem‑solve and analyse complex data.

Experience working with a large accounting system, preferably JD Edwards.

Critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset.
