Curis Recruitment is excited to partner with this fantastic Aboriginal Medical Service in the Northern Territory to help them find an amazing Chief Operating Officer to join their team.

Excellent salary and employee benefits
Base salary starting at $180,000 and can be negotiated depending on experience and qualifications.
Relocation assistance is available.
Permanent fulltime position.
As the Chief Operating Officer you will work closely with the CEO to translate strategic vision into operational success. You’ll oversee day-to-day administration, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure services are delivered efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with the organisation’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
Lead operational planning, systems implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with legislation, accreditation standards (ISO, RACGP, NDIS), and internal policies.
Drive workforce development, performance management, and a culture of safety and accountability.
Collaborate on financial planning, resource management, and capital investment strategies.
Represent the organisation in strategic partnerships and advocate for health equity.

Eligibility Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Health Administration, or related field.
5+ years in executive leadership within health or community services.
Strong understanding of Aboriginal primary health care and cultural competence.
Proven operational leadership, financial acumen, and stakeholder engagement skills.
