Job Description
Department Overview:
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is responsible for building organizational capability in managing risk on a more integrated and comprehensive basis for the organization and for promoting a strong risk culture within TD. The team is accountable for the development and implementation of an enterprise risk management strategy, governance, policies and practices, reporting and operating frameworks, and operations associated with the Risk Management function.
TD applies the “Three Lines of Defense” model to risk management as defined in the Enterprise Risk Framework. As part of the second line of defense, the ERM team assures the appropriate design, implementation, and/or execution of (applicable components of) the TD risk management framework. ERM collaborates with a broad network of business and risk management practitioners and other corporate functions in all jurisdictions where the Bank has business activities.
Responsibilities
Lead the quarterly enterprise top and emerging process, including gather and challenge segment and subject matter expert inputs, monitor external reports, produce the quarterly report for the TD Risk Dashboard and related speaking notes, maintain and update Standards and process documents.
Support and be a key contributor to the top and emerging risk process enhancements project by working with segment risk and other partners to ensure requirements are clearly defined and understood, assist with program updates and partner communications, set and adhere to timelines, create/update the risk catalogue, build and implement on-going business-as-usual processes.
Support Enterprise Risk reporting processes, ongoing change activities for eGRC target state, partner with various stakeholders to drive the right outcomes and achievement of key milestones.
Support the Enterprise Risk Governance programs by obtaining and analyzing data and other information, drawing conclusions, creating presentations, and writing concise commentary and briefing notes as required to support executives and committees.
Support enterprise-wide stakeholders by providing subject matter expertise and addressing business or governance related queries.
The candidate will work collaboratively with business partners to provide effective support and manage additional responsibilities as outlined above.

The successful candidate will gain an enterprise-wide perspective of TD and exposure to numerous risk, business and corporate function group.
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing concise business documents, creating impactful presentations, and presenting analysis to management
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated project/process management skills, including developing and tracking to established timelines
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
Proven ability to work with and build relationships with stakeholders
Ability to connect-the-dots to engage the right partners
Ability to use influencing skills to implement change is an asset
Enjoys working in a team environment but also able to work independently
Experience & Education
Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or
7+ years relevant experience, preferably in Risk Management / Audit / Compliance
