We are expanding our engineering leadership team and are looking for a

Lead Software Developer / Software Architect

to drive backend architecture, API development, and enterprise-grade data ingestion systems.

Role Overview You will architect and lead the development of backend systems, data pipelines, and cloud-native solutions. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong documentation, design clarity, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities Backend Architecture:

Design scalable backend systems, APIs, and data ingestion workflows. API Development:

Build RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI). Data Pipelines:

Architect ingestion pipelines for structured & unstructured data. Cloud Engineering:

Develop and optimize cloud-native solutions (Azure preferred). Technical Documentation:

Own architecture docs, API contracts, and design specs. Architecture Diagrams:

Create clear diagrams (Lucidchart, Draw.io, Visio). Performance & Security:

Ensure systems meet enterprise scalability and security standards. DevOps Collaboration:

Work with CI/CD, IaC, Docker/Kubernetes. Team Leadership:

Mentor developers, conduct reviews, drive engineering best practices. Cross-Functional Alignment:

Partner with product, data, and business teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in

Python

and backend frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI) Hands-on experience with

Azure

or other cloud platforms Expertise in

API design ,

microservices , and

data ingestion pipelines Familiarity with streaming tools:

Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub Strong experience with

Docker ,

Kubernetes , and CI/CD workflows Solid knowledge of

SQL & NoSQL

databases Excellent

technical documentation

and

architecture diagramming

skills Experience with

Terraform / CloudFormation Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
