As our Project Manager, you'll lead the planning, development, and implementation, of Thryve.Earth’s projects. While there will be a team of experts to support the journey, as the Project Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery of the project(s). You will not only be working directly with various team members for delivering the project, but also collaborating directly with the co-founders, and other functional leaders as delivering incredible outcomes through our projects is our core work. Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling: Lead the planning of the projects to ensure project success and meeting committed timelines. Develop comprehensive project plans of resources, deliverables, milestones and dependencies leveraging a broad set of project management tools such as gantt charts, dashboards, etc. Effective Change Management & Risk Management: Set up the right systems and processes for any inevitable changes that may occur throughout the project lifecycle. Orchestrate the project by keeping the risks front and center, and mitigating risks to the best possible extent, and managing those risks that cannot be mitigated early Budget Control & Financial Management: Develop and oversee project budgets, monitor actuals, oversee variance analysis, and devise risk and mitigation plans to ensure project is on track, achieve goals and maintaining fiscal responsibility. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with implementing partners, local communities, and government agencies to ensure project success. Facilitate communication, resolve conflicts, and build strong relationships to support project objectives. Project Implementation: Manage the project execution on the ground via the field partners, while setting up the right governance to ensure Thryve has the right visibility, and ability to support course correction as needed, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Lead contracting and hiring of staff, advisors and consultants to deliver the project milestones. Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders. Implement strategies to mitigate risks, optimize performance, and coordinate impact monitoring activities to align with project goals. Innovation: Reflect regularly on our approach to project development, and inform continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project effectiveness. Improve project tools, methodologies, and training materials to optimize outcomes and streamline processes Qualifications and Skills

Strong passion for nature, and for being in nature Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in project management roles, delivering successful outcomes Proven expertise as a project manager in agroforestry, forestry or plantation management. Experience working with smallholder farmers is highly preferred. Demonstrated achievement in developing markets through strategic planning and execution Strong team player with a collaborative approach, fostering synergy across diverse global teams and thriving in dynamic startup environments Growth and Evolution

While the role can start as the manager of an individual large scale project, given Thryve is and will be operating multiple projects across regions, there is sufficient room to grow into the project management function with scope expanding across projects. Given nature based project development is a multi faceted activity, there will be ample opportunities to grow beyond the project management function as well, if you so wish.
