Melbourne’s South‑West. Permanent EFT + Long Service Leave Cover (flexible/negotiable). We’re seeking an experienced

Consultant Psychiatrist

to provide leadership and clinical expertise in our

54‑bed adult acute psychiatric inpatient unit

at the Clare Moore Building. You’ll be joining a dynamic team of

six consultant psychiatrists , an expanding JMO workforce, and a

robust registrar training programme , making this role both rewarding and well supported. Provide leadership and clinical expertise within the inpatient unit, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to service innovation. Qualifications

Registration with

AHPRA Fellowship of the

Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP)

or working towards completion Strong experience managing a wide range of mental health conditions including psychosis, depression, anxiety, PTSD and risk issues Excellent communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills A compassionate, flexible, and collaborative approach to patient care Benefits
