About the Role:GCP Data Solution Engineer DataFlow Spanner BigQuery

Responsibilities

- 7+ years of professional experience in backend engineering or data engineering. - Hands-on experience developing data pipelines using Dataflow, integrating with Composer/Airflow or other schedulers. - Experience building and deploying services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc., as part of a CI/CD process. - Strong understanding of data models for OLTP and Data Warehousing environments. - Ability to understand business requirements and review/validate data models. - Basic knowledge of data architecture principles (preferred). - Experience working with data replication technologies such as GoldenGate, SharePlex, StreamSets, Striim, etc. (a plus). - Knowledge of ETL processes and experience working with structured and unstructured data. - Experience with bulk loads and any streaming load integration (a plus). - Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Dataflow, Composer, and BigQuery (preferred). - Experience working with relational databases such as Spanner, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc. - Strong experience with cloud-based data warehouse platforms, especially BigQuery.
