Job Description
What You’ll Do
We are hiring talented consultants in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) Business Unit to deliver business transformation solutions. The team has led projects for global clients in strategy, target operating model design, regulatory governance, remediation, technology transformation, programme & project management, and business analysis across Sales & Trading, Risk Management, Finance, Treasury, and Operations & Technology functions.
Responsibilities
Consulting Skills
Client delivery as part of on‑site or remote project teams, defining frameworks and structures of deliverables, and producing complex deliverables.
Managing work, activities, and timelines, prioritising and workflowing tasks for both the team and clients.
Coaching teammates on client deliverables using PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS Project, Visio, and other tools.
Presenting complex ideas, critical points and decisions to team members and client contacts, including middle and top management.
Conducting research and business analysis to solve customer challenges, presenting tailored solutions that integrate quantitative and qualitative data.
Managing an internal team, promoting teamwork, motivation and continuous improvement.
Building credibility and legitimacy with clients, challenging approaches and providing new directions to deepen relationships.
Defining project frameworks and organisations, managing one or more projects concurrently, ensuring follow‑up.
Reporting status, dependencies, issues, risks and overall programme health.
Leading simple projects and working under the lead on complex projects.
Maintaining a programme site as a repository for all project information.

Supporting firm‑wide practice, thought leadership and people development activities.
Maintaining a deep understanding of business concepts, challenges and key knowledge for a specific expertise area.
Cultivating knowledge related to specific business challenges, deepening understanding within a sector and function domain.

Leading internal knowledge‑share activities and organisations, ensuring complete knowledge transfer.
Collaborating with client leadership to improve processes in banking governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, treasury transformation, stress testing and internal audit.
Advising clients on strategic risk‑management recommendations for credit, market, liquidity and other risks.
Helping clients quantify risk exposures, evaluate strategies and build/maintain risk models.
Creating tools that enable efficient use of capital and liquidity resources in line with regulatory expectations.
Focusing on the identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of exposures to interest rate, commodity, equity, credit and FX movements.
Developing a point of view on key global trends and their impact on clients.
Business Development Skills
Detecting, tracing and qualifying business opportunities.
Relaying information relevant to new business activities and prospects.
Leading business development and proposal efforts.
Driving sales efforts and leading internal corporate initiatives.
Leading major projects and managing relationships with flagship and key accounts.
People Management Skills
Supervising project teams internally and on client assignments.

Collaborating with engagement teams to deliver high‑quality work products.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management or a related field from an accredited college/university.
7+ years of management consulting experience.
5+ years leading projects related to the Financial Services industry, including banking products & services such as capital planning, stress testing (CCAR/DFAST), market risk, treasury, and business process design.
Previous experience in capital and/or liquidity reporting.
Ability to manage client relationships and networks, present to senior audiences, and work day‑to‑day with senior and mid‑level clients.
Ability to multi‑task competing priorities while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Bonus points if you possess any of the following:
Master’s degree in finance, financial engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, operations research, economics & finance, accounting & finance, business analytics, etc.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Exposure to risk and regulatory issues across multiple areas in consumer‑facing financial services, payments, commercial banking, investment banking, sales and trading, risk management, and emerging regulatory dialogue.
Front‑office systems and market data exposure, understanding of data flow between systems and reporting tools.
Ability to obtain, process and analyse large data sets using SQL, SAS, and other analysis tools.
CFA/FRM/CAIA/CPA certifications.
