Job Description
The P&C Business Partner and L&D Lead wears two equally important hats. As a Business Partner to all Motorcycles Holdings (MCH) Retail and Distribution sites in VIC, SA and WA, this position will provide support to Regional leaders, Dealer Principals and Store Managers with their day-to-day People and Culture needs. As the L&D Lead, this position will, from time to time, facilitate competency-based training to people managers and key staff. This role will also take the lead for Compliance Training, Training Data and Apprenticeship signups.
Key Responsibilities
Support the geographically based customer group as a Business Partner with day-to-day people matters, such as Recruitment, Managing Performance and Employee Relations issues.
Liaise with Functional Leads (Recruitment, Payroll, ER, Org Dev, Rem & Ben, WHS etc) within the P&C group for support with resources, tools, advice and strategy and deliver their programs to the front line.
Lead the Learning and Development Function for MCH.
Deliver Competency-Based Training
Manage Training Records
Identify improvements that could be achieved in the L&D space, working closely with the Organisational Development Functional lead on the strategy.

Key Skills and Capabilities
Proven experience in Business Partnering with confidence in low-level ER issue resolution and supporting management with Recruitment Interviews
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Confidence in running training with an appetite to acquire greater skills
Experience with maintaining training records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of employment legislation.
Ability to multi-task and juggle two distinct elements of the one role.
Qualifications, Requirements and Desirable Experience
Current driver’s license to travel to other sites
Required to travel and work across various sites
Previous experience in Retail / Multi Store Businesses would be valued
Experience with delivering training would be highly valued
