About the Role: As a Senior Asset Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of multiple Asset Management Agreements—driving asset performance, ensuring compliance, and managing key stakeholder relationships. With a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and collaboration, you’ll play a central role in the successful operation of renewable energy assets.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Lead delivery of multiple Asset Management Agreements ensuring performance, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Oversee project mobilisation and operational readiness for new and transitioning assets.
Develop and implement annual business plans to drive asset value and efficiency.
Act as the primary client contact, fostering strong and transparent relationships.
Manage defect resolution processes and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory obligations.
Coordinate day‑to‑day operations, including emergency response and maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate project records, tools, and reporting frameworks.
Oversee compliance with National Electricity Rules and liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., AEMO, AER).
Support community and landholder engagement, ensuring timely communication and payments.
Promote a safety‑first culture, leading by example and reinforcing RES’s commitment to risk management.
Key Skills & Experience
Renewable energy operations experience, ideally with >5 years in asset management roles.
Strong knowledge of the National Electricity Market, including regulatory compliance and market operations.
Proven track record in contract and commercial management, including procurement processes and budgeting.
Skilled in managing contractors, stakeholders, and client relationships.
Proficient in health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
Ability to balance technical analysis with commercial insight to inform strategic decisions.
Experience working with project equity partners and boards, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
Strong planning, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Effective team leadership, mentoring, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Qualifications or Certifications
Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Law, Finance, or related field.
Familiarity with renewable energy technologies & project lifecycle management.
