Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

As Human Resources Manager, I will support and oversee the efficient operation of the Human Resources department to deliver exceptional products and services in line with brand standards. My key role will be to assist the Director of Human Resources in developing and implementing the resort’s human resources plan, including manpower planning, benefits and payroll budgeting, training and induction programs, and host engagement initiatives.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

Supporting and overseeing recruitment, host ratios, succession planning, and career development plans (MDPs). Conducting host satisfaction surveys, formulating corrective actions, organizing host meetings and awards, championing the performance management system (G&O), analyzing host turnover trends, updating job descriptions, and maintaining confidential host files.

Supporting and conducting periodic salary and benefits surveys, providing recommendations to ensure competitiveness and compliance with local statutes.

Managing host accommodation and facilities, including the host restaurant and host committee activities, career fairs, and other host-related events.

Championing social and environmental activities in coordination with the Sustainability Director and partner organizations to execute social responsibility initiatives.

Focusing on talent management and continuous assessment of human resources practices to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Promoting a cost-conscious approach through training and education.

Ensuring legal, statutory, and financial compliance, including documentation, reporting, contractual obligations, security, safety protocols, communication standards, service quality, host management, and budget control to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

To succeed as Human Resources Manager, candidates should possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field, with more than five years of relevant experience in luxury hotels preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR/payroll systems, with ADP/Timesaver experience preferred.

Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is preferred.

Indonesian citizenship.

Certification for the specific job role.
