Software Engineer - Fixed Term Contract / Quantum and AI We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a team building next generation AI and quantum inspired technologies. Their work enables extreme model compression that reduces the size of large language models by up to 95 percent while keeping accuracy intact, cutting deployment costs by as much as 80 percent.

Supported by major investment and strong European backing, this group is helping global organisations make AI faster, greener, and far more accessible.

This is a fixed term contract on a hybrid model. The initial term runs until June 2026 with the possibility of extension. You’ll receive a competitive base, plus signing and retention bonuses.

In this role you will: Work alongside specialists in quantum and AI with experience across industry and academia Contribute to software that serves clients in both public and private sectors Collaborate directly with the founding engineering team Solve high value applied problems for real world customers Take ownership across design, development, cloud deployment, and integration Partner with ML, quantum, and DevOps teams to scale core technologies

What you’ll need: Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience Strong Python skills, plus experience with Rust or C or C++ Junior: 1 to 2 years experience in software engineering focused on ML or data workflows Mid: 3 years or more experience in the same domain Experience building and deploying systems in cloud environments Strong version control and CI or CD practices Ability to write clean, well tested, well documented code Strong communication skills and comfort working with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with LLM tooling, vector databases, or model serving Experience with distributed computing frameworks is a plus
