Canada TV Experts .
The Managing Director will lead this new Canadian operation, expanding market presence and driving continued growth.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded leader with deep knowledge of the Canadian media landscape and the ability to convert an already-successful international presence into a fully established national business.
Business Leadership & Growth
Lead the launch and development of Canada TV Experts, building on Global TV Experts’ existing Canadian client base and reputation.
Identify and secure new business opportunities with advertisers.
Serve as the lead representative of Canada TV Experts in commercial negotiations, partnership discussions, and high-level client engagements.
Build annual revenue plans and deliver against financial targets.
Provide high-level market insight specific to Canada’s regulatory, cultural, and commercial landscape.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional delivery of all work.
Operations & Team Development
Establish the Canadian office structure and processes.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of varied expertise as the business scales.
Implement and maintain company-wide best practices, reporting structures, and brand standards.
Coordinate with the UK headquarters to align methodologies, case studies, products, and research capabilities.
Brand & Market Presence
Represent Canada TV Experts at industry events & conferences.
Develop partnerships with key Canadian industry bodies, associations, and agencies.
Increase brand visibility and reinforce the company’s position as a trusted, expert.
Required Experience & Skills
10+ years of experience in advertising, media strategy, broadcast, or related fields.
Leadership experience in a commercial, growth-focused role.
Strong understanding of the Canadian media ecosystem and its cultural and regulatory nuances.
Proven track record of winning business and managing senior client relationships.
Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and building something new.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within or alongside multinational agencies, broadcasters, or media companies.
Established network across Canadian media owners, agencies and brand marketers.
Knowledge of Canadian content regulations, and regional market distinctions.
