Account Manager – Insurance Recruitment (London)

Following a record year of growth across Albion Blake, we’re looking for a confident and commercially minded Account Manager to join our high-performing insurance recruitment team. You’ll play a key role in managing and growing relationships with an established client base of 15 insurance firms, while continuing to deliver exceptional talent solutions across Broking, Underwriting and Claims.

The Role

This is a client-led recruitment role with a balance of account management and business development. You’ll be responsible for nurturing existing partnerships, expanding accounts, and ensuring exceptional delivery across live vacancies. With an established client base of multiple insurance firms, you’ll have the platform to build upon strong existing relationships while developing new business opportunities within Broking, Underwriting and Claims. Working alongside our directors and senior consultants, you’ll have the autonomy and support to develop your own market and deliver exceptional results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with an established portfolio of 15 insurance clients
  • Deliver high-quality recruitment solutions across Broking, Underwriting and Claims
  • Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and expand existing accounts
  • Conduct senior candidate meetings, market mapping, and lead generation
  • Source, screen, and qualify candidates for both live and future opportunities
  • Take candidates to market via speculative introductions and campaign activity
  • Maintain accurate records, market data, and insights in our CRM to support strategic growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues on client pitches, projects, and wider market initiatives


You Will Be Someone Who:

  • Has 12+ months recruitment experience, ideally within insurance, financial services, or professional services
  • Is confident in managing key client accounts and building long-term relationships
  • Has a commercial, consultative approach and a strong understanding of client delivery
  • Is motivated by success, growth, and quality outcomes
  • Enjoys autonomy but thrives in a collaborative, high-performing team environment
  • Is ambitious to develop into a Senior Account Manager or Team Lead role
