Civil Litigation/Housing Lawyer

A local authority based in London is seeking a Litigation Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

The successful Litigation Lawyer will focus on housing disrepair work only- defending claims/potential claims against local authority clients. You will need to have a proven track record of robustly defending claims from pre-action stage through to issued court proceedings. You will deal with initial court hearings and subject to management approval, instruct counsel where appropriate. Disrepair experience is essential.

The role is for 36 hours per week.

Pay rate is between £30-50 per hour dependant on experience. Local government experience is highly advantageous.
