Role Overview

Sigmatic is seeking a Technical Lead to drive engineering execution, architect scalable systems, and guide a growing development team. This role blends leadership with hands-on technical work. You will own architectural decisions, mentor engineers, enforce best practices, and ensure smooth delivery of high-impact features across our platform.

The ideal candidate is a senior full-stack engineer who has evolved from building mobile and backend features to designing and shipping modern, cloud-native platforms. You will serve as the technical bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders—driving innovation while ensuring reliability and speed.

Key Responsibilities • Lead and oversee end-to-end technical project execution across multiple product lines. • Architect scalable, secure, cloud-native systems and microservices. • Guide and mentor full-stack engineers, enforcing best practices in coding, testing, and system design. • Perform code reviews and ensure high standards for maintainability and performance. • Collaborate closely with Product and Leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions. • Drive hands-on development in React, Node.js, Python, and cloud services. • Own delivery timelines, sprint execution, and technical prioritization. • Ensure reliable integrations across APIs, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and event-driven systems. • Support the development of AI-augmented internal tools, LLM-based features, and automation workflows. • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Core Technical Experience

Candidates should have demonstrated experience in:

Full-Stack and Platform Engineering • Modern web platforms: React, Next.js, Node.js, Python • API-driven systems, secure payment workflows, cloud-native architectures • Mobile engineering: iOS, React Native, Flutter (bonus) • Building scalable, clean components and backend services

Backend & Cloud Architecture • Designing and deploying microservices (Node.js, Python/FastAPI) • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, autoscaling deployments • Event-driven architectures, queues, and messaging: Redis, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus

AI, Data, and Integrations • LLM-powered tools, RAG pipelines, vector search • Experience with LangChain, ChatGPT, Hugging Face (bonus) • Integrations with telemetry, GPS, BLE, IoT data streams

Engineering Craftsmanship • Strong grasp of architecture patterns, data models, analytics integrations • Secure transactions using Stripe / Apple Pay with audit-proof workflows • Map and routing integrations (MapMyIndia or similar) • End-to-end delivery from requirements → design → dev → testing → deployment

Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience • 2+ years leading engineering teams or technical projects • Strong skills in architecture, system design, and code quality • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams • High levels of ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving ability • Experience working in agile environments • Ability to deliver clean, scalable, production-ready features quickly
