Functional Responsibility The Intermediate Trade Compliance Analyst is primarily responsible for execution and maintenance of Price Industries’ international trade program, including maintaining internal trade data and systems, trade documentation creation and audit, and product classification and reporting for Price Industries Limited and Price Industries, Inc. The analyst also supports international initiatives by providing full analysis of opportunities, relationship mapping and business case development.

As a member of the Trade team, the analyst works closely with buyers, manufacturing teams, engineers, logistics and product managers to support the Price business plan.

Principal Duties

Support the management of Price’s trade program (export/import classifications, licensing determinations, denied‑party screenings and sanctions programs, identified deemed exports).

Demonstrate accountability and knowledge on trade compliance topics.

Analyze current supply chain and business systems to ensure consistent trade practices.

Gain knowledge of regulations, statutes and laws regarding trade compliance requirements impacting Price’s business activities.

Oversee the review and approval of all commercial invoices, license applications and other paperwork for international shipments.

Ensure correct classification, usage and reporting of Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs), tariff codes (HTS), Country of Origin information (COO) and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).

Interface with other business functions to ensure documentation is accurate and maintained.

Oversee record retention of documents to meet Canadian, U.S. and foreign regulations.

Monitor activities for adherence to import/export procedures throughout the business.

Support Sales and Engineering to structure global transactions in compliance with US/Canada and foreign laws.

Work with management to implement identified corrective actions.

Liaise with selected Customs Brokers.

Maintain communication with buyers, manufacturing leadership and product managers to align with business direction.

Support international business development by creating processes that support trade compliance.

Deliver reporting on Price’s compliance activities.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate international trade role or customs compliance.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering or related field (advantage).

CCS/CTCS credentials (advantage).

Working knowledge of North American or International import/export trade requirements.

Awareness of customs clearance processes, including entry documentation and broker coordination.

Understanding of free trade agreements and product qualification under them.

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials (advantage).

Strong PC application skills, including Microsoft Office.

Excellent planning, project management, interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail oriented.

Skilled in developing and delivering effective training programs and presentations.

Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in fast‑paced environments.
