Your future duties and responsibilities :
Develop and maintain the organization's data architecture framework.
Design and implement scalable and efficient data models to meet business requirements.
Provide leadership in defining data storage, integration, and processing solutions.
Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
Define and implement data quality standards and processes.
Contribute to the development of the overall data strategy.
Work closely with business leaders to understand data needs and align data solutions with organizational objectives.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and trends in data management.
Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions.
Oversee the development of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure efficient data movement.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
Professional experience in data architecture or a related role.
Expertise in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing principles.
Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Extensive experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.
In-depth knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, or Java.
Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data professionals.
Relevant certifications in data architecture or related fields (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), TOGAF, or equivalent).
Bachelor's in Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
