Job Title: Design Coordinator

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: £35,000 + Per Annum

Fawkes & Reece are working with a well-established Midlands Based main contractor with nationwide coverage who specialise in the Industrial & Commercial sectors.

They are seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to support with the management and delivery of design information, to assist with the production of design programmes and ensure the design programmes are complaint to relevant legislation and construction stages.

Responsibilities:

• Support design review workshops with consultant and subcontract design teams to ensure clear technical submission understanding.
• Lead design team meetings and lead the process with the consultants and subcontractor design teams.
• Manage the contract specifications, drawings and documents.
• Provide design & technical support to design managers and project management teams
• Support the technical reviews of proposed works, to be able to read and interrupt drawings and technical specifications.
• Submit design information to the client team via Submittals on Procore

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Design Management or similar
• 2 years of experience in design coordination or architecture
• Experience working on design & build construction projects.
• Great customer service skills
• Experience with design software
