Class 2 Driver

Job Summary
we are recruiting class 2 drivers to deliver medical equipment to hospitals and private houses.

Shift pattern- Monday to Friday

PAY£17.25 - O/T £20.77 - Plus £20pw bonus

Duties

On a daily basis you are not just delivering pallets or boxes, but a quality of life. To do this you you will be driving a 18T covering all of the UK, meeting the needs of hospitals and patients.

This could mean one day you could be in the centre of London, hand delivering prescription only medical fluids and ancillaries to 12 different patients, with the deliveries in excess of 500 kgs each. Some deliveries will require to be handballed upstairs in the patients property.no need for a gym membership!

The next day you could be on a coastal run, delivering to certain hospital departments and private healthcare settings. Collections will also need to be made when requested.

What we need?

As you can imagine, the safety of the patients is a high priority , so compassion, attention to detail, along with being mindful of GDPR regulation are paramount at all times. Although this is a single man solution, and we understand the work will be physically demanding, we offer support in the way of various MHE devices, which we obviously offer full training on.

Skills

• Valid class 2 licence
• CPC card & Digi Tacho
• no more than 6 points
• DBS Check will be required for this role
