The Role

Undertakes research and analysis to support the development and refinement of compliance policies, sector guidance materials and monitoring tools.

Provide concise, evidence-based policy advice, including options and recommended solutions to resolve problems, and mitigate risks.

Supports the coordination and reporting of compliance matters such as the Annual Compliance Audit Return process, including trend identification, data quality assurance, and preparation of summary reports.

Analyses internal and sector sourced data to identify emerging compliance risks, capability gaps or systemic issues affecting local governments.
