As our business continues to grow, we are looking for seasoned production-focused professionals who can lead complex events with confidence, creativity, and technical expertise.

ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Production Manager with deep live event production experience and a proven ability to lead the technical, creative, and logistical execution of large-scale and multi-dimensional events. This role is central to ensuring every event is delivered with precision, creativity, and operational excellence.

You will oversee production planning, technical design, vendor management, staging, audiovisual integration, creative asset delivery, run of show development, rehearsals, and on-site execution. You will collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, technical directors, designers, and production crews to create polished and engaging experiences.

The ideal candidate brings a producer mindset, thrives in fast-paced environments, is meticulous with details, and understands how to bring all technical and creative elements together into a cohesive show.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead all aspects of production planning, including staging, lighting, audio, video, scenic, rigging, webcasting, and technical integrations

Develop run of show documents, cue sheets, rehearsal plans, and production schedules

Oversee creative development, including branding, graphics, content playback, scripts, presentation support, and video integration

Conduct venue assessments, create floor plans, review technical drawings, and ensure accurate site layouts

Ensure alignment between creative concepts and technical capabilities

On-Site Execution

Serve as the on-site production lead overseeing setup, rehearsals, cue calling, and live execution

Direct stage operations, including coordination with speakers, talent, stage managers, and technical crews

Maintain a calm, solutions-oriented presence under pressure

Ensure safety, compliance, and seamless guest experience throughout the event

Vendor and Partner Management

Source, negotiate, and manage production partners, including audiovisual, staging, scenic, lighting, decor, printing, and specialty vendors

Review technical proposals and scopes of work for accuracy and cost effectiveness

Manage vendor logistics, including schedules, deliveries, builds, rehearsals, and strike

Client and Internal Team Collaboration

Act as a trusted partner to clients by providing strategic production guidance and proactive solutions

Lead production-focused client meetings, walk‑throughs, and approvals

Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Creative Leads, and internal departments to ensure cohesive delivery

Mentor and support junior staff and coordinators on production processes

Budget and Operational Oversight

Build and manage detailed production budgets, including AV, scenic, staging, labour, and creative assets

Maintain accurate budget tracking, reporting, and reconciliations

Ensure compliance with safety standards, insurance requirements, permits, and venue regulations

Identify opportunities to optimize efficiencies and enhance production outcomes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5 plus years in live event production, technical production, or a production management role within an agency or production company

Demonstrated experience managing conferences, galas, fundraising events, or brand activations with complex technical requirements

Strong knowledge of audiovisual systems, staging, lighting, rigging, technical drawings, floor plans, and show flow development

Experience working directly with producers, stage managers, technical directors, and creative teams

Proven ability to lead onsite production with confidence and composure

Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong client facing experience

Exceptional organizational and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects at once

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is required. Familiarity with project management systems, design tools, or registration platforms is an asset
