Duties and Responsibilities

1. Estimation Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for millwork projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors.

2. Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, provide project updates, and address any concerns, fostering strong client relationships.

3.Vendor Negotiation: Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best materials and services while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

4. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to ensure projects remain financially viable.

5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, including architects, designers, and construction crews, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements and working conditions

Experience in commercial woodworking

Experience in cost estimating

Skilled in plan reading

Very good knowledge of materials related to the field

Be highly organized, methodical and forward-thinking

Attention to detail

Know how to work with precision

Ability to work in a team

Ability to maintain good client communications and relationships

Demonstrate diligence and punctuality.

Good knowledge of the office suite
