Job Description

As a key member of the leadership team, you will lead the organisation’s finance, compliance, and governance functions, providing strategic insight, driving financial performance, and ensuring operational excellence across our national footprint.

This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role suited to a forward‑thinking leader who combines commercial acumen with the ability to deliver tangible business outcomes in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.

Strategic Leadership Execute the company’s financial strategy to support long‑term business objectives and growth.

Fulfill the duties of Compliance Officer, reporting to the board

Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape commercial decision‑making and strategic direction.

Lead the continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, and reporting to enhance accuracy, compliance, and scalability.

Oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, business analysis and compliance within a private organisation structure.

Drive performance through disciplined cost control, strategic management, and data‑led financial insights.

Oversee procurement, IT services and contracts, and key supplier relationships to ensure sustainable value creation.

Governance & Risk Implement and maintain robust business and financial governance, utilising internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Ensure full compliance with all statutory, taxation, and reporting requirements.

Maintain compliance management systems and report to the Board

About You You are an energised, strategic finance leader ready to take the next step. You have the confidence and capability to influence at the highest levels, bringing both the strategic foresight to drive growth and the operational discipline to deliver results.

You will demonstrate:

Proven success leading a finance function within a private organisation.

Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to translate financial insights into business outcomes.

Expertise in business and financial governance, compliance, and risk management.

Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of building high‑performing, engaged teams.

Professional membership with CA ANZ or CPA Australia is essential.
