Machine Operator Days

Location: Banbury
Pay Rate: £13.07 per hour (£15.32 when permanent)
Shifts: Rotational (6am2pm / 2pm10pm)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Were looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing team in Banbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position with real potential for permanent employment.

• Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.

• Report any machinery faults, malfunctions, or downtime immediately to the supervisor or engineer.

• Carry out regular quality checks to ensure all products meet required specifications.

• Record production and quality data accurately throughout the shift.

• Complete basic machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as required.

• Load materials onto machines and ensure continuous supply during production.

• Remove finished goods safely and prepare them for dispatch or further processing.

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised workstation at all times.

• Follow all Health & Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE.

• Support with general housekeeping duties across the production area.

• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.

• Adhere to company policies, production standards, and operational procedures.

• Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery when required.

• Previous experience operating machinery or working in a production environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic.

• Able to work both early and late shifts on rotation.

• Reliable, punctual, and keen to learn new skills.
