In this role you will: Lead the design and evolution of scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud-native solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards.

Define architectural patterns, principles, and best practices for cloud development and deployment.

Conduct architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.

Develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and critical system components to validate architectural decisions.

Actively contribute to the codebase for complex or foundational elements, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across application code, cloud infrastructure, and integrations.

Drive adoption and optimal utilization of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless) from major providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Siemens frameworks.

Advise on cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, security best practices, and compliance.

Mentor and guide engineering teams on architectural patterns, cloud best practices, coding standards, and effective use of cloud services.

Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, engineering leads, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Communicate complex technical concepts and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

To be successful in this role, you will bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 3–5 years in a Solutions Architect, Lead Engineer, or similar architectural role.

Domain knowledge in Rail and Measurement systems (highly desirable).

Proven experience designing and implementing measurement systems in complex integrated environments.

Strong experience with architecting and designing modern APIs and integration patterns.

Deep hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including compute, serverless, databases, networking, storage, and security services.

Understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, and compliance.

Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.

Exceptional proficiency in Python or Node.js / TypeScript; experience with React / Vue and front-end development.

Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Swarm).

Familiarity with CI / CD tools and practices (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.

Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
