Job Description
Oversee all kitchen operations for the Japanese restaurant, including menu development, food preparation, and presentation.
Maintain authenticity and quality in Japanese culinary offerings (sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki, kaiseki, etc.).
Manage and train kitchen staff to uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and culinary excellence.
Control food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships while ensuring premium ingredient sourcing.
Collaborate with F&B management to create seasonal menus and special promotions.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Japanese cuisine, with at least 3 years in an executive or head chef role.
Proven track record in luxury hotels or fine dining establishments
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent knowledge of Japanese culinary traditions and modern trends
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and communicate effectively in English
