We are seeking a Head of Middle School to join our community. This is a full‑time permanent role, commencing Term 1, 2026.
Pacific Coast Christian School
is a dynamic Prep to Year 12 co‑educational Christian learning community committed to developing and nurturing our students. It is a well‑established school located in Tweed Heads on the far north coast of NSW and is part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW. Under the delegation of the Principal, and as part of the School’s Leadership Team, the Head of Middle School is to contribute to the development and maintenance of the overall culture and climate of the School with specific consideration and advocacy for the particularly distinct needs of students in Years 5‑8. They are to ensure the implementation of the School’s vision and policies through the development and maintenance of Middle School practice that is in keeping with the overall ethos and climate of the Pacific Group of Schools.
Qualifications and Experience
Personal Christian faith and a commitment to this community of Faith and Practice
Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications in Education
5 Years’ experience in Teaching
Experience in Educational Leadership
Depth of understanding of the principles of Christian Education
Exemplary teaching practice
Highly developed administrative skills
Highly effective written and oral communication skills
Highly developed interpersonal and relational skills
Key Result Areas
Leadership and development of all aspects of the Middle School
Day‑to‑day operations through the organisation of the Middle School
Pastoral care and welfare of the Middle School community of students, parents and staff
