Who are we Lindsay Australia is a leading transporter of fresh and refrigerated produce. We take pride in supporting farmers every step of the way — from planting and packaging to connecting them with retailers and families through our comprehensive road, rail, and logistics network.

With 70+ years behind us, Lindsay continues to grow — expanding across transport and rural divisions, winning new business in protein and dairy, and strengthening our end-to-end service model built on trusted customer partnerships.

Why join Lindsay’s Melbourne Depot Take the lead at one of the largest depots in our national network — where your decisions directly impact safety, performance, and customer success. As Depot Manager, with a workforce of over 200, you’ll have the scope and support to make a real difference in a business that moves Australia.

Lead with purpose – Champion our “Safe Always” culture, set the standard for safety, and empower your team, customers, and visitors to do the same.

Drive operational excellence – Oversee a high-volume operation spanning local fleets (road and rail), cross-dock warehouses, multiple commodity types, and temperature zones — all while maximising efficiency across the linehaul network.

Inspire and develop people – Lead a diverse workforce with professionalism and care, setting clear goals, managing performance, and driving engagement and accountability.

Strengthen customer partnerships – Build and maintain trusted relationships, deliver on commitments, and uphold Lindsay’s reputation for reliability and service excellence.

Own the results – Take responsibility for safe, cost-effective operations, including labour planning, budget management, and site maintenance — ensuring the depot runs smoothly and sustainably.
