Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to lead and execute high-impact omni-channel content marketing programs for a well-known retail brand. This is a six-month contract position with opportunity for extension, requiring the talent to work four days per week onsite in Toronto.
In this pivotal contract role, you will be instrumental in creating a consistent and optimized customer journey across all touchpoints, from digital platforms to physical in-store experiences. You will be at the forefront of a 'create once, publish everywhere' content philosophy, leveraging your experience in both traditional and digital marketing to manage large-scale creative programs.
You will act as the crucial link between marketing strategy and creative execution, with a key focus on omni-channel campaigns, paid social media promotions, and production management (photo/videoshoots). This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact across all customer channels by working collaboratively with a variety of teams, including e‑Commerce, digital marketing, and in‑store marketing. The ideal candidate is a proactive and courageous leader who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and thinking on their feet.
Responsibilities
Translate marketing objectives into compelling, results-driven omni-channel content programs.
Develop and write comprehensive omni-channel briefs and project plans based on internal client requests and requirements.
Lead the execution of strategies from concept to market launch, working closely with creative and production teams.
Manage internal client requests, project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, providing consistent status updates to all stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with content producers (specifically for video and photography) on project requirements, and manage/oversee photo and video shoots and asset creation.
Collaborate with cross‑functional groups (e‑Commerce, digital marketing, in‑store, PR, etc.) to integrate content and ensure a seamless, cohesive customer journey.
Lead meetings to present creative work, gather feedback, and build consensus on next steps among various stakeholders.
Measure and analyze the performance of creative campaigns using data, presenting clear and actionable insights to leadership.
Actively manage campaign creation across various channels, including social media/paid media and traditional production.
Requirements
A university degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in account management or creative project management, preferably within an advertising agency or a creative team.
Proven track record of successfully leading both small and large creative programs across all media channels (omni-channel).
Demonstrated experience managing programs for both digital and traditional marketing, with a strong understanding of paid media/paid social campaigns and creative execution best practices.
Expertise in Microsoft Office, Project Management (PM) Tools, and Workflow systems.
Familiarity with Wrike and/or Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) is a definite asset.
Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, including the ability to influence and align teams.
Standout candidates will have a background in advertising agencies and specific experience in managing social campaigns for a retail client.
