In this role, you'll
You’ll partner with the Director of Employee Relations for Sydney Trains to develop and lead the communications and engagement strategy for the next Rail enterprise agreement negotiation.
You’ll work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to establish communications and engagement strategies that support the agile nature of the organisations needs and tailoring priorities to the diverse needs of stakeholders.
You’ll proactively manage and oversee the development of engaging, effective content that resonates with key audience groups, drives engagement to build relationships with the audience and achieves organisation outcomes.
You’ll develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders across Sydney Trains and government to ensure the organisation remains aligned with the strategic goals set by the executive leadership team.
This is a 12 -months temporary position in a hybrid working model with flexibility to work in our Elizabeth Street / Burwood offices.
About you
Your experience in developing and leading the communications campaign on a large-scale enterprise agreement in an industrial environment is highly desirable.
You will be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where delivery on tight deadlines is critical, and you will be familiar with the requirements associated with enterprise agreement negotiation.
You’ll build relationships easily, and your ability to influence internal and external stakeholders in a complex environment and navigate competing deadlines and priorities is unquestioned. You have experience and familiarity with authorising environments and approval processes within government.
You’ll maintain a high standard of work, and having previously worked in a similar environment, you are aware of the political sensitivities and maintain confidentiality in what you do.
You’re a team player with excellent communication skills and solid experience operating in a complex customer centric environment.
