Job Description We are seeking team‑oriented and professional community based Adult Psychiatrists to be part of our dynamic and expanding department. The position provides an opportunity to work in a broad clinical population within a continuum of services.

Remuneration is fee‑for‑service or contract with an approximate annual income of $386,507.36 to $480,760 in addition to on‑call and teaching stipend which are remunerated separately.

Call coverage allows for a balanced lifestyle as it is shared with all other Psychiatrists in the Department.

The Regina Area with the has a Psychiatry Residency training program, is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the .

Job Qualifications Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the in Psychiatry. Preference will be given to candidates with a special interest and additional training in Psychotherapy and those with RCPSC designation in Psychiatry.

This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.

Individuals will be eligible for provisional or regular licensure from the .

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA.
