Position Overview As part of the, you will play a key role in advancing Autodesk’s Finance Transformation by enabling operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring delivery of high-impact BI initiatives. You will partner closely with the Senior Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and execute projects that enhance data-driven decision-making and business efficiency. This role bridges strategy and execution, translating business needs into actionable project plans, fostering accountability, and promoting process excellence across Finance BI development.

You will partner with Finance, IT, and business teams globally to modernize reporting tools, optimize workflows, and strengthen data governance. Leveraging your project management expertise, problem-solving skills, and ability to connect people and processes, you will help ensure Finance BI solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with Autodesk’s evolving business goals. This role is a key contributor to Autodesk’s multi-year transformation, driving agility, innovation, and collaboration in support of a more sustainable, equitable, and data-driven future.

Responsibilities

Support the Senior Manager in driving strategic initiatives that enhance Finance BI capabilities, streamline business processes, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization

Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of BI and reporting transformation projects assuring milestones, timelines, and quality standards are met while proactively addressing risks and dependencies

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance business owners, program managers, project leads, BI developers, and IT teams to translate business needs into actionable project plans and deliverables

Implement and uphold a thorough QA process for BI delivery materials, ensuring data accuracy, visualization consistency, and alignment with business process standards to drive operational efficiency

Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, gathering feedback, and implementing process enhancements that improve team productivity and solution quality

Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new tools, processes, and reporting standards across Finance teams

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, knowledge repositories, and user guides that promote consistency, self-service, and long-term sustainability of BI solutions

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust across Finance, IT, and business teams at all levels

Provide light training and enablement sessions to build user confidence and drive adoption of BI tools, including Sigma BI

Play a key role in creating and influencing a Center of Excellence (CoE) for BI tools—establishing governance, defining best practices, and fostering a community of learning and collaboration across Finance

Document and maintain best practices, standard operating procedures, and knowledge-sharing materials to promote consistency and efficiency

Champion business efficiency through automation, simplification, and proactive problem-solving to maximize the impact of Finance BI solutions

Minimum Qualifications

BA Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field

Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) desired

Proven experience leading or supporting large-scale Finance BI modernization, data governance, or system integration programs across regions or functions

Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to align Finance, IT, and business teams toward shared goals

Strong understanding of Finance concepts and terminology, such as forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and financial reporting to effectively translate business requirements into BI Solutions

Strong expertise in modern BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Sigma) with solid understanding of data modeling, governance, and visualization standards

Ability to establish or influence a Center of Excellence (CoE) for BI tools, promoting best practices, consistent documentation, and effective QA processes for BI deliverables

Proven track record in driving process simplification, automation, and quality assurance to improve business efficiency and data reliability

Skilled in developing user enablement materials and delivering light training to enhance BI adoption and self-service capabilities

Proficient in project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Airtable, MS Project) with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills focused on operational excellence

Salary transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
