Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director, Procurement & Sourcing to lead our global procurement function, with a focus on driving efficiency, governance, and value across our technology, software, and indirect spend categories. Reporting to the VP, Finance & FP&A, this leader will shape sourcing strategy, oversee vendor management, and partner closely with business and IT leaders to optimize spend across regions. This role requires a mix of operational excellence, strategic negotiation, and stakeholder management, with an ability to navigate complex vendor ecosystems across North America and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the global procurement and sourcing strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Lead sourcing for technology, software, and professional services, including enterprise systems, SaaS, and infrastructure contracts.
Build and manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, performance, and compliance.
Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and Business Operations to optimize supplier lifecycle management and risk mitigation.
Establish category management frameworks and performance KPIs for cost, quality, and delivery.
Drive adoption of procurement best practices across regions, ensuring consistency while allowing local flexibility.
Oversee global RFP processes, contract negotiations, and renewal strategies.
Support procurement governance, supplier diversity initiatives, and ESG sourcing goals.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team of sourcing professionals.
Qualifications
12+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing global or multi-region procurement, ideally with exposure to European markets.
Strong background in IT/software procurement — SaaS, enterprise systems, licensing, and managed services.
Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, cost optimization, and supplier performance management.
Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven or global enterprise environment preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is an asset.
