Orange County, Greater Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, Long Beach), and the Inland Empire .

The Role: BCBA
As a BCBA at ABC, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of treatment for your caseload. This role requires clinical excellence, strong leadership, and effective collaboration across multiple environments (Remote and In-Person).
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Program Development
Conduct
functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and standardized
skills assessments
to identify deficits and strengths.
Develop, maintain, and update individualized, data-driven ABA treatment plans
at least once per month, ensuring they address areas of medical necessity.
Analyze challenging behaviors
to identify their function and develop functionally relevant interventions.
Summarize and analyze data to make
data-informed decisions
and adjust protocols effectively.
Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments.
Team Leadership & Fidelity
Provide
ongoing coaching and training
to Behavior Technicians (BTs).
Monitor and ensure high
treatment integrity and adherence
to protocols.
Direct technicians in the implementation of new or revised treatment protocols.
Collaboration & Compliance
Include caregivers as a vital part of the treatment team with consistent
Parent Training meetings .
Accurately communicate treatment response to all
treatment stakeholders
(e.g., caregivers, payers).
Coordinate care
effectively with other professionals (e.g., teachers, SLPs).
Engage with payers as needed for funding meetings (i.e., IEPs, peer reviews).
Maintain appropriate documentation
and patient medical records, ensuring full compliance with
HIPAA
and best practices for ABA treatment.
Required Qualifications
Current
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) , in good standing with the BACB.
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both
independently and as part of a collaborative team , exercising strong clinical judgment.
Reliable transportation
with proof of auto insurance and willingness to travel to client locations within the service area.
Must pass tuberculosis test and a
background check .
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
An
empathetic, compassionate, and solution-focused
individual with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Experience with a variety of service delivery models ( in-home, in-school ).
Bilingual skills (especially Spanish)
are a plus.
Experience supervising BTs or Mid-Level Supervisors is preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Treatment settings are diverse and include Remote and In-Person services at the client's home or school.
The ability to frequently
move, position, and transition
to engage with patients who may be seated on the floor, in small chairs, or in various environments.
Utilize
continuous visual tracking
to monitor the movement of patients and the environment.
Be able to
lift up to 30 lbs.
while assisting patients.
Work in both indoor and outdoor settings that relate to the patient's natural environment.
