About the Role
We seek a self-propelled, passionate, inspirational
technology and software engineering leader
to
contemporize, optimize, and scale
our cloud-hosted multi-tenant integrated enterprise grade SaaS platform and IoT solutions for Healthy and smart workplace application which can meet global standards and related compliance requirements
This is a
high-impact role
for someone who has an innate ambition to undertake:
Contemporize legacy stacks
(PostgreSQL, Spring Boot, Angular/Flutter) with AI/ML integrations.
Identify and develop new applications based on user feedback , desk research and market study from Product team and in discussion with the Co-Founders
Developing a lean and efficient team
(2 X software engineers + 1X IoT hardware & firmware engineer + QA/QC + 1 X UI/UX designer + 2 interns) along with an on-demand âready bench strengthâ for mobilizing new project led customization/s , continuous mentorship-, task and performance governance of the team members , team member engagement initiatives, to name a few.
Driving smart innovation
that impact cost of ownership, uptime, accuracy and ease of use in IoT-cloud communication, API scalability, and cost-efficient cloud ops.
Taking over the overall CTO and working closely with the CEO /Co-Founder
by owning the tech strategy and delivery/execution efficiency, business impact, obsolesce and cost mitigation controls, 3 rd
party partnerships, R&D and continuous innovation and cross-functional leadership. In this stage also participate with the Co-Founders in fund raise discussion with investor and funds.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Responsibilities
Partner with Founders to shape company vision and align technology accordingly.
Define and monitor technology KPIs.
Lead tech org structure, hiring strategy, and culture-building initiatives.
Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies and setting long-term R&D agenda.
Represent technology in investor pitches & board meetings
2. Technical Ownership
Refactor and
sharpen & securing existing cloud stack
for performance, security, and cost.
Ideate, design ,develop new software application in collaboration with the business and products team
Integrate
AI/ML models
(predictive analytics, LLMs, automation) into workflows.
Design
multi-tenant APIs
and optimize PostgreSQL for high-throughput workloads.
Implement
IoT protocols
(MQTT, WebSockets) for device-cloud data pipelines.
3. Team Leadership
Mentor engineers in
Spring Boot, Angular, Flutter, and C++
(for IoT/edge modules).
Instil
best practices
(CI/CD, microservices) without over-engineering.
Collaborate with sales & product teams to
align tech with business goals
.
4. Product & Business Strategy Alignment:
Work closely with the product team to define product roadmap and user experience strategy.
Translate business goals into technical milestones
5. Governance, Compliance &Â Data Security:
Define and implement data governance, compliance, and cybersecurity policies (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
Oversee regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
6. Tech Budgeting & Resource Planning:
Prepare and manage the annual tech budget, cloud cost forecasts, and vendor spend.
7. CTO Growth Path
Year 1:
Own technical roadmap, vendor partnerships, and R&D initiatives.
Year 2-3:
Transition into
strategic leadership
(budgets, hiring, investor/board tech reviews).

â Open-source contributions or side projects (GitHub link).
