Unit Specifics: · Unit staffing description- secretary every day, PRN techs · Type of equipment: PD Cyclers, Basic equipment - Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lift, Broda Chairs, Alaris IV Pumps · 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week block · Floating policy: Bedside shift report, safety checks q1-2h, focus on commination and responsiveness · COVID Vaccine · This unit is also an overflow non-ICU COVID unit from our primary COVID unit depending on community surges. Hospital Specifics- · Requested Skill Set: Able to perform basic patient assessments, general care and maintenance of the following: Patient population has at times will require dialysis or PCA pumps. Post-Op procedures on unit: Amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, oral surgeries and wound vacs.
