About the Opportunity
Create, maintain, and oversee worldwide credit risk standards, ensuring alignment in how customer creditworthiness is analyzed, scored, and approved across all markets.
Direct the design, approval, and ongoing reassessment of credit limits for the organization’s most significant global accounts, incorporating external intelligence, financial disclosures, and proprietary risk indicators.
Track customer financial trends and exposure levels proactively; identify exceptions or weaknesses in exposure management processes and drive corrective actions.
Lead the administration of the enterprise’s global trade credit insurance strategy, ensuring insurer compliance and managing all renewal cycles, negotiations, and coverage optimization activities.
Build analytical structures that highlight portfolio concentrations, geographic imbalances, and sector-specific emerging risks.
Produce and deliver comprehensive reports on credit exposure, projected risk levels, and bad‑debt reserve requirements for senior leadership.
Collaborate closely with Finance and commercial teams to evaluate strategic customer opportunities, designing deal structures and risk‑mitigation solutions that support profitable expansion.
Evaluate requests for deviations from standard credit language or contractual protections and recommend the most appropriate alternative terms.
Promote advanced credit‑risk technologies—such as automated scoring engines and real‑time portfolio monitoring tools—to improve efficiency and strengthen analytic decision‑making.
Guide, develop, and support the credit risk team, managing daily operations while fostering technical and professional growth.
About You

Proven leadership experience overseeing teams responsible for credit policy and risk‑mitigation programs within a large, multinational environment.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to influence senior internal executives and C‑suite customer contacts on nuanced risk matters.
