Responsibilities
The Director of Finance will lead the Finance, Information Technology and Purchasing departments and associated operations. You will be responsible for overseeing, directing and administering all financial operations of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability through account management, reporting, controlling, planning, resourcing and interdepartmental collaboration.
This is a senior operational leadership role with a key business partner to the General Manager and senior leadership team of the Hotel, serving as the financial steward to hotel management and ownership alike.
Overall management of the accounting records and financial reports of the hotel, ensuring compliance with the company, owner’s management agreement, statutory and fiscal requirements.
Implement reporting systems that integrate benchmarking, track and measure key performance indicators, and apply the balanced scorecard approach.
Dive into the numbers, uncover insights, and pitch game-changing ideas to the GM and Ownership team for added value and growth.
Harnessing tech power to streamline finance and unlock better information.
Spot the star projects and channel investments where they shine brightest for the whole enterprise.

About You
Have at least 12 months of full Australian Working rights (sponsorship is not offered).

Keeping an eagle eye on competitors and trends to fuel bold growth strategies.

Experienced in orchestrating projects, mitigating risks, and producing precise financial reports for internal and external compliance.
